In terms of great eco ideas, this has to be the best one I've seen. By attaching a computer controlled kite to cargo ships crossing the Atlantic, freighters can save up to $2,000 a day in fuel costs or 35% of their overall fuel consumption. It's amazing how sometimes the best answers to our biggest questions are the simplest. Keep that in mind as you think about how you're going to change the world.

Re: Kite Powered Cargo Ships
Wow, This is such a good idea! What a great way to use less fuel!
What do think about kite powered cargo ships?
Re: Kite Powered Cargo Ships
I read somewhere that there is a wind generator being developed using kites! They say that it's going to be able to create as much energy as a nuclear power plant.
I think this is a great idea, wind is a very strong natural resource that will help us in the future! I wonder what they'll think of next....
